Littleton tenant sues Greystar alleging eviction in retaliation for silica dust complaints

A former tenant sued Greystar Management Services and a concrete contractor, alleging he was exposed to silica dust from concrete work, reported it to Greystar and OSHA (which fined the contractor more than $58,000), and was then evicted for allegedly 'photographing the vendors without consent.' Greystar denies most allegations and says it had no control over the contractor's work.

Littleton apartment tenants describe persistent bird infestation 'nightmare'

Tenants said hundreds of swallows nest on Building 8 each spring, leaving droppings, dead birds and bird mites that they say enter apartments, and described unfulfilled promises from management. Greystar told 9NEWS its options are limited because the swallows are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and it is deterring nesting in compliance with federal law.

Residents petition Greystar for indoor air-quality testing at Forty55 Lofts

Petition started by resident Wendy K. alleges residents became seriously ill from formaldehyde and other indoor toxins above health guidelines, that requests for testing and remediation were ignored, that residents were forced to take legal action, and that Greystar continues to rent untested units. It asks that Greystar be required to test and confirm units are habitable; it had 108 signatures when reviewed.

18-year resident alleges declining service, fire-alarm errors and understaffed maintenance

Reviewer alleges conditions declined after Greystar took over, including a misdirected fire-alarm response that nearly led the fire department to break down their door, slow snow removal, a fitness fee despite broken equipment, a pool closed most of summer 2023, and one maintenance worker for 232+ units.
